Ladies and gentlemen,
The Bosnian Professional Network (BPN) met on December 1, 2007 in Bern, Switzerland, to mark the foundation of the BPN association and to officially launch its new web based portal.
This one-day session, kindly sponsored by the Embassy of Bosnia-Herzegovina to Switzerland, SEE Investment Solutions d.o.o., Sarajevo, and Vakufska Banka d.d., Sarajevo, welcomed over hundred BPN sympathizers willing to explore the great potential of this new "Global, Career, Economic and Lifestyle Connection for Progressive Professionals linked to Bosnia".
In its opening session, BPN shared details of its path, from concept to realization, and how it plans to overcome future infrastructure and leadership capacity constrains. The large support of the attendees for the BPN goals, validates our mission strategy as one which can bring Bosnian Professionals together, and as such, achieve real progress in ensuring concerted action to promote networking between professionals of Bosnian origin worldwide.
Work priorities adopted by the BPN Leadership Committee for the next two years are very much in line with the needs and expectations of the emerging "International Professional Bosnian Community". Therefore, BPN will keep nurturing the growth of BPN through our main goals - "Establish, Act and Serve" - to ensure that it becomes a valued intellectual and professional resource for the Bosnian Community.
For its part, the BPN Leadership Committee will come up with proposals for effective measures in the activity domain in the coming months and will share those via our web portal.
